February Meeting

Members present at this months meeting: Bernice, Peggy, Altaful, Carole, Ashour, Lauren and Luann

This past Wednesday we had our second Council meeting. We spent majority of our time reviewing the progress Altaful, Carole, and Lauren had made with Jessie Cai on the intranet website we are creating. We discussed the importance of having the website near the surface of the homepage rather then buried deep, so it is easy to find. We also discussed the content and agreed to each look at a different section. By March 14th we are to send our section to Altaful who will work with Jessie on updating the web page, and then we will review it at our next meeting. The assignments are as follows:

Reports & Related Resources – Carole
Travel Forms & Procedures – Ashour
New Employee Training – Lauren/ Luann

We also talked a little bit about JTAG and who should be part of it. One suggestion is to have representatives from the merged units and the Council, however this is still undecided. Luann and Lauren will continue to meet with Mary Nacu until JTAG is formed.

Lastly we touched on possible agenda items for the May retreat.

Our next meeting is at the end of March.
